Fieldbrook Residential Recycling Program

Recology Humboldt County provides residents of the Fieldbrook area with an optional curbside recycling service for an additional monthly charge. Please contact our office for the current rate or to sign up for this service.

Mixed recycling is placed into blue bags provided by Recology Humboldt County, and placed beside your garbage can to be picked up on your regular pick up day.

Acceptable Recycling Materials Only place recyclable materials into your containers! Please empty and rinse all food and beverage containers.
Glass All colors of beverage and food containers Beverage bottles (beer, juice, soda) Mayonnaise jars Spaghetti sauce jars Metal Rinsed food and beverage cans (aluminum, steel, and tin) Aluminum foil & containers Plastic Bottles & containers marked #1 - #7 Detergent and shampoo containers Milk and orange juice jugs Water bottles	Paper Most clean and dry household paper: Food boxes (cereal, crackers, remove liners) Gift wrap (non-foil) Junk mail & envelopes Home & office paper Magazines & catalogs Manila folders Newspaper Paper bags Paperback & phone books Cardboard Flattened and broken down

Unacceptable Recycling Materials Please do not place the following un-recyclable materials into your blue container!
Construction Debris Concrete, rocks, dirt Electronic / Universal Waste Televisions, computers, cell phones, batteries, fluorescent light bulbs, mercury switches	Household Hazardous Waste Paints, solvents, cooking oil, motor oil, cleaners, corrosives, fuel tanks - propane tanks Un-Recyclable Glass, Metal, Paper and Plastic
